I've written frequently in my firm newsletter about idiot parents hosting underage drinking parties and some Virginia parents just went off to the slammer for 27 months for hosting a really big one. This morning's Washington Post has an article about a Bethesda soccer club coach who was arrested in Dewey Beach, Delaware, and charged with a whole bunch of counts of endangering the welfare of children, maintaining a dwelling house for use of illegal drugs, providing alchohol to minors.

Don't these folks read the newspapers. Don't they think at all? This guy Nino Marcantonio was a pretty well-known soccer player at American University and the University of Maryland. He's got a good reputation as a coach but, if these charges are true, (I said "if"--he's presumed innocent) he trashed it.

Coming on the heels of the tragic deaths of four young people in a car on graduation night, this is just about the dumbest thing you could do.

I know, I know.. there will be folks who will defend him. "Kids will be Kids....this was beach week...no body was hurt" (well, except for the girl who reportedly jumped off the balcony and broke her ankle.)

Like I said: "Idiots"
